KK Group

Help Us Build the Next Generation of Vibration & Condition Monitoring Technology

At KK Group, we design and deliver advanced hardware platforms that keep turbines, rotating machinery, and critical industrial equipment safe, reliable, and performing at their best. As we expand our next generation TCM® and PCH® product families, we are looking for a Lead Software QA Engineer who is passionate about engineering excellence, problem solving, and ensuring products perform flawlessly in the real world.

In this role, you will help secure the robustness, safety, and compliance of our hardware platforms — from compact vibration sensors to high performance monitors and new M-Systems electronics. Your work directly impacts product quality, customer trust, and the long‑term success of our technology.

Why This Role Matters

Our hardware platforms protect critical machinery across industries. Your work ensures that every device we release is safe, reliable, and ready for the environments our customers depend on.

As a Lead Software QA Engineer, you will:

  • Enable world‑class hardware quality through rigorous testing and validation.
  • Ensure safety and confidence in the next generation of vibration and condition monitoring technologies.
  • Influence product performance early, helping shape both new NPI projects and upgrades to existing solutions.
  • Be a key link between design, systems, and production, ensuring products move smoothly from concept to real world‑ use.

Your contribution directly impacts customer success — and strengthens the reputation and reliability of KK Group’s technology portfolio.

What You Will Do

Software Development

  • Participate in the team, with everyday C/C++ programming tasks.
  • Participate in the SCRUM sprints.
  • Plan and architect the next software development.

Test Planning & Documentation

  • Develop verification specifications, test plans, and structured test reports.
  • Maintain full traceability from product requirements to test results.
  • Support release documentation for handover to manufacturing

Product & System-Level Validation

  • Verify integration between hardware, firmware, and monitoring/edge systems.
  • Conduct system-level testing across sensors, vibration guards, and compact monitors.
  • Support root cause‑ analysis and collaborate with hardware, embedded, and systems teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Work closely with Product Owners, Systems Engineers, Designers, Manufacturing, and external partners.
  • Support validation of production test jigs and manufacturing workflows.
  • Identify areas for improvement in fixtures, processes, and test coverage.

What You Bring

Experience

  • Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of experience in software validation, preferably within the fields of vibration monitoring, condition monitoring systems, embedded sensor hardware, or industrial electronics.

Technical Skills

  • Must be skilled in C/C++.
  • Must be skilled in Linux.
  • Proficiency in writing test protocols, test reports, and verification documentation.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a disciplined approach to documentation.
  • Effective communication skills for working with cross‑functional engineering and manufacturing teams.

If you feel you meet most—but not all—criteria, we encourage you to apply. We value curiosity, growth mindset, and practical problem‑solving just as much as specific experience.

Location

This role can based in our offices in Kolding or Ikast.
