Role
For our Aarhus office, we are looking for an experienced software developer to join the AGS development team. You will help build software that enables environmental protection, groundwater exploration, critical mineral resources, renewable energy, and infrastructure companies to understand subsurface conditions without drilling.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Design, build, test, and refine large‑scale software systems, ensuring alignment with architectural and security requirements.
- Develop new cloud‑based geophysical solutions for monitoring and processing large datasets.
- Maintain and enhance our established AGS desktop applications (Workbench, SPIA, Res2DInv, and Res3DInv).
- Collaborate cross‑team with developers, Product Management, QA, and Support to investigate and resolve issues.
- Contribute to code reviews, pair programming, and automation efforts, maintaining high standards in our SDLC.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in software development.
- Experience with or a strong curiosity to learn C++, C#, Delphi, Python, MS Azure, GCP, Git, and GitHub Actions.
- Experience with application security best practices is a plus.
- Confident oral and written communication skills.
In addition, you should
- Have a desire to build and release innovative, high‑quality software.
- Have an interest in science (mathematics, engineering, or a scientific background).
- Demonstrate strong analytical, problem‑solving, and methodical skills.
- Be passionate, driven, and motivated to work in a highly technical environment.
What We Offer
- Hybrid working and flexible hours (2–3 days/week in office) to support a healthy work‑life balance.
- A supportive engineering culture focused on quality and learning.
- Global collaboration and long‑term career growth.
- A company that values ethics, quality, and sustainable engineering.
