We are a growing software development company based in Faroe Islands looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated entry-level software developer to join our team. As an entry-level developer you will have the opportunity to learn and grow as a professional while working on exciting projects with experienced developers.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior developers to design, develop and test software applications.
- Write clean, efficient and maintainable code.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing codebase.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++ or Python.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices.
- Basic understanding of database design and SQL queries.
- Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with front‑end development using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or SVN.
Salary: $1100 per month negotiable based on experience.
Location: Faroe Islands. Accommodation not provided.
A valid biometric passport is required for employment.
